The Macrocender is a unique ascender that is used for shock loads. The cam has a set of shallow, slightly rounded teeth which will provide just enough friction against the rope. Spring loaded action is achieved by the designed to help prevent rope damage under resistance of a small diameter cable attached to the cam. This cable can be unclipped for free-running action. Breaking strength 6,000 lbs (26.69KN). Weight 8 ounces. Made in the USA.
